And we’re always looking for new, energetic volunteers to help keep the games flowing. Ultimate in the nation’s capital offers a great way to make new friends and get – or stay – in shape. WAFC sponsors local ultimate leagues that include divisions for players of all levels, from beginner to national-caliber. The 2,800-member Washington Area Frisbee Club (WAFC) is a non-profit, volunteer driven organization dedicated to promoting flying disc sports in the Washington D.C. Joining a WAFC League includes membership in the Washington Area Frisbee Club for the calendar year in which the league takes place. IMPORTANT: By joining a WAFC League, you agree to abide by all WAFC policies regarding field usage, player conduct, and other league rules. Cancellations will be announced through SMS text message to players. Since WAFC has no control over the weather, WAFC cannot guarantee all scheduled games will be played. No more than 2 people may baggage together. All efforts will be made to honor requests, please contact the commissioner with any requests for exemptions. ![]() On the registration page, you will be prompted to enter the names of people to "baggage" with, meaning you want to be placed on the same team together (if you do not want to baggage with anyone, just leave this blank).
